You Never Have Enough Money
Make Simple Financial Changes|Find More Money
If you never seem to have enough money, by tweaking a few of your financial habits you could find more. You may not need to make any drastic changes, just simple ones.
Tip #1 – Avoid Debt|It Costs Too Much
Debt is easy to get into but difficult to get out of, so the easiest solution is to stay out of it all together. You can save so much money on credit card interest and fees if you only charge up what you can afford to pay off every month.
Tally up the interest and maybe late fees that you have paid on your credit cards over the last year, you will be shocked. That money could have been used to pay some of your other bills instead of making the credit card companies rich.
Tip #2 – Save Money|Keep A High Credit Score (above 750)
One way to find more money to pay your bills is to keep your credit scores in good standing (above 750).
When creditors, retailers, loan companies and credit card companies see low credit scores (below 750), they assume that you are a poor risk so they charge you higher prices. You could be wasting your money by paying more for goods and services when you may not have to.
Order your free credit score to find out where you stand. If your score is below 750 work on making the necessary financial changes to build your score back up. Keeping a high credit score is not hard, you just need to pay your bills on time, avoid late pays, avoid spending up to your credit card limits and avoid collections.
Tip #3 – Become Aware Of How You Spend
Debt is often accumulated due how we spend; are you the kind of spender who buys things you need vs want or vice versa? You may benefit by determining what kind of spender you are.
The Difference Between A Need & A Want.
Are You A Need Spender?
If you only buy what you need, you will have more money since you won’t be wasting it on things that you don’t use.
Some examples of a need would be food, clothing, shelter, transportation, insurance.
Are You A Want Spender?
We all want the biggest house, the fastest car and designer clothes to wear, but we can get by with a simple home, a car that gets us to and from and rack clothing. The biggest and fastest are examples of buying based on wants. Once in a while, you have to treat yourself and buy the biggest and fastest, the problem comes in when these become necessities vs treats.
