Tired Of Being A Slave To Debt?
Got Debt|Expect Financial MeltDown
The federal government can spend money they don’t have, they just print more of it or tax us. You personally do not have that option. If you spend more money than you make, you end up in financial meltdown.
How To Avoid Financial MeltDown
You get yourself into a financial mess, you can get yourself out of it. If you are in financial meltdown mode, you need to get yourself financially back on your feet. It’s not hard to do if you know the steps involved and follow them.
1st – Bye, Bye Credit Cards
You need to stop accumulating debt. The fastest way to do that is to throw away your credit cards. There is no glory in carrying a credit card balance. Some people keep one credit card for emergency purposes only; if you can trust yourself to not use it, you may want to do the same.
2nd – Pay It Back
Work down your credit card balances; you will have extra money now that you are not accumulating more debt. Pay more than the minimum due; if you just pay the minimum you will never eliminate the balance. When you carry a credit card balance you become a slave to the credit card company.
3rd – Cannot Skip It
Never miss a credit card payment and avoid making late payments; the fees and interest rates will destroy any progress you are attempting to make. Credit card companies love late pays and missed payments, that’s how they make their money. Have you seen credit card interest rates lately??
4th – Don’t Be Fooled
Credit cards are easy. They are easy to get and easy to use. They can easily trick you into believing you can afford to buy more than you can. If you can pay the credit card bill in full every month than you have a good grip on money management.
5th – Do The Budget Thing
To avoid being tricked, live by a budget. That sounds so elementary, but it works. If it’s not on your budget, you cannot afford it, period!! If you are using your credit cards for your basic needs, food and clothing, you probably are buried in debt. Credit cards should not be used for your basics. Credit cards are for emergency, unexpected expenses (car repairs, medical expenses, etc).
You Can Do It
Debt is not fun, it’s a curse. You got yourself into debt and you can get yourself out of it if you change some of your financial habits.
